Now that the 2017 - 2018 academic year is in full swing and our children have settled (fingers crossed!), we would like to welcome all early years and new parents and carers to our wonderful Rosendale Primary School Community. Please join us at the PTA Coffee Morning on Friday 13th October from 9.10am - 10.15am in the training room at the front of the reception block. Come along to find out what we are all about!

Save the date for the Rosendale Summer Carnival, Saturday 2nd July from 1pm - 4pm!

Summer carnival - pedder boards

This year we are hoping to raise enough money to buy a new performance stage for school so please help us out by having a board outside your house advertising the festival.  Pedder have agreed to donate £15 for each address we provide and there is no cap on the number of addresses we can provide so we're really hoping to get lots of parents, new and old, sign up.  It doesn’t matter if you live in a flat or house, provide your address and Pedder will do the rest!  If you have had an estate agent board before promoting the PTA events we will email you directly to check you are happy to do it again for this year’s fair.  However, if you have not had a board before it's simple - just email us at rosendalepta@gmail.com with your address details. The boards will go up two weeks prior to the Summer Fair and will stay up for 1 week following.  Remember the more addresses we give them the more money we will raise towards the new stage.  You will have seen the brilliant new markings in the playground and the new exercise equipment in the quiet garden - both of which were made possible by you supporting the PTA in various ventures across the year.  Please continue to help out with this one!

Rosendale Summer Festival - Planning Meeting

Just a reminder that the PTA is holding a festival planning meeting on Thursday 30 April in the Prince Regent pub from 8pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend. PTA Quiz Night - Friday 21 March

It's the date you've been waiting for.  Test your wits and enjoy some chips at the PTA's Quiz Night on Friday 21 March from 8pm.

Tickets are £10 per head, this price includes a fish and chip supper (vegetarian options available). The Rosendale Arms - our pop up bar - will be serving reasonably priced drinks.  There is a maximum of 8 people on a team.  Come as a team or we can team you up.

Tickets go on sale on Monday 10 March from the blue hut.  Hope to see you there!

Thanks to your support we raised over £3,000

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who took a Pedder Board advertising the Rosendale Christmas Fair, it raised over £1,000 for the school.   We also took over £2,000 at the Christmas Fair which is fantastic.  Thank you to everyone who helped to make the Fair such a success.  The PTA will be meeting soon to discuss how the money should be spent.  If you have any ideas that you would like to contribute get in touch we’d love to hear from you.  

Christmas Market on Tuesday

Come along to shop, support local businesses and artisans!
The inaugural Rosendale Christmas Market is where you can do your Christmas shopping, chat to friends, chomp on mince pies without leaving the comfort of Herne Hill. All the stall holders are either parents or local businesses selling homemade candles, hand-stitched cushions, chutneys and jams made from locally grown produce. It starts at 7pm and goes on until 9pm, so come along and bring lots of cash!
